Nora Shipp is an assistant professor of astronomy at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her research focuses on understanding dark matter and galaxy evolution via observations and simulations of the Milky Way. She is particularly interested in stellar streams, the remnants of disrupting satellite galaxies and star clusters orbiting our Galaxy.
